The Launch

THE LAUNCH OF “THE GRANARY CLUB - THE ROCK YEARS”.

The book launch was held on Saturday 6th December 2003 at the Christchurch Studios in Portland Street in Clifton, Bristol. The studios belong to the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School but are used for both sound and vision recording as well as rehearsal space and as a function venue. John Waterhouse, who’s affectionately known as ‘Boffin’, did a tremendous job of organising the studios whilst the more than splendid ‘ROUGH JUSTICE’ provided a storming selection of rock classics for the gathered assembly of rock ‘n’ roll celebs to groove to. There were jolly speeches from publisher Catherine Mason and new author Al as well as much quaffing of fine ale. Books were autographed and old friends swopped Granary stories. A fine time was had by all.
